Meet the Authors
Mike Elconin
​
Mike previously served as a state legislator and later chief of staff to the governor of Wisconsin. He subsequently founded and sold a software company in Wisconsin and co-founded a medical device company in San Diego. He has been a consultant and contract manager on first responder technologies for the Department of Homeland Security, on robotics for the Department of Defense, and on materials and electronics for engineering professors at the University of California at San Diego and San Diego State University. He is currently founder of an aerospace start-up.
J.C. Wright

J.C. lives in California with his partner and dogs. He likes burritos, books and movies with understated storytelling and sentences that demonstrate the importance of the Oxford comma. Two of his favorite authors are Andy Weir and Michael Connelly, and he sees the Aurora trilogy as a nod to both.
